We’ve heard it so often – if you don’t choose the best keywords for your web site you might as well shut up shop. So how, from all the possibilities out there, do you choose exactly the words that are going to resonate with the search engines and optimize your carefully constructed web site? Here are a few tips.

Use phrases, not single words
First up is the notion that single words are not what you are looking for. Single word searches generally find too many pages, so clever search engine users narrow their search by combining words. Let’s say your business is about fixing what goes wrong under the hood of a car. Obviously a search for “motor” is going to provide too many pages – and yours will likely not be in the top ten. The words “motor mechanic” may fare a little better – “motor mechanic Georgia” (if that’s where you are based) is better ...

There is nothing like a recession to promote the search for a marketing edge. Does Internet Marketing create the opportunity for achieving an edge over the opposition? The answer may depend on how savvy you are in making use of the multiple technologies available under the banner of Internet marketing. To gain real traction you probably need more than just a web site acting as a static catalogue. You need to aim for interactivity, seeking feedback and building community. Think networks, with your site as the hub.

Internet marketing is relatively inexpensive compared with conventional marketing; it has a worldwide audience; it can be used effectively by anyone from small home-based business (think Joe the plumber) to large corporations, or businesses like Amazon.com that deal exclusively online. So where’s your edge?

Benefits of Internet marketing include low cost and the speed with which it can reach its target audience. Nanoseconds after you upload that classy banner it is ...

Real Estate – a Love Affair on Hold

Negative equity in the family home has plunged many American households into an insecure financial situation. The subprime crisis has caused the real value of homes to plummet. Mortgages reflect the old value of properties – not their current, significantly lower, value. Owing more than they own, some home owners have opted for bankruptcy, which has become common; and some realtors are looking at earning only a quarter of what they made last year. Many real estate agents are getting out altogether, re-training and moving to other careers, because the real estate market is effectively paralyzed. Similarly, redundancies are scything the ranks of loan brokers; and the effect of the mortgage meltdown is being felt in those jobs associated with housing: construction, trucking, and so on. The property collapse is one of the factors creating the highest unemployment rate in America since the early seventies, according to figures recently released.

The United States has exported the property ...

We have a list of financial disasters – The Panic of 1893, The Banker’s Panic of 1907, The Oil Crisis of 1973 and the worst of all, and The Crash of 1929. These disasters have been learning experiences, the hard way and we had assumed that we had come a long way from then with the experiences gained and regulations to protect us from the above. In just a matter of thirty five years from the last financial disaster and seventy years from the Major Crash and Depression, we seem to spiraling downward much the same way and speed. We have faced recessions, unemployment issues fuelled by the deregulation of financial systems. So, what makes this crisis crucial to the economic analysis? We have stringent economic records and this crisis is unprecedented mainly as all forms of investment (excluding Treasury Securities) have had declines of historic proportions. Stocks, Corporate Bonds, Home Prices and Commodities are facing ...

America is always known for its welcome attitude to people of the other nations. Its natural approach though welcoming has become inadequate now. This is gaining stance as an issue with an increase in international trading which is bringing more business executives to the country. These business professions exhibit severe cases of culture shocks at the corporate and individual levels. Research was conducted to understand their experiences and attitudes towards the American business culture. Most of the foreign business professionals were based at Atlanta and other cities from the south-east. They were CFO’s, CEO’s, directors, analysts, engineers, managers. More than 50% of them were European with a minimum of 26 countries represented at the study.

The financial cost of is mostly two to four times the salary of the transferee. Relocation at cross-border levels is steep. Employers provide little assistance to integrate them into their business community. Most of these professionals enjoy a certain degree of self-esteem ...

Paid Scripts - Forced Advertising

Written by SupremeCenterHosting.com | Posted on January 6, 2009

I am going to get right down to it... when a script or template developer compels customers [who pay license fees for the script or template] to advertise the developers website for free is disreputable. There is a slew of website application developers and website designers, who I might add, are charging a hefty some for their work, expecting you to freely advertise their websites, products and/or services. Some developers, such as the slimy Evil Greedy Overlord of CRE Loaded, code advertisements right into the application. So in the end, not only are you paying for the script and/or template, you are also paying the developer to advertise for them... for free! Sounds a bit ass backwards... doesn't it?

If you look at some of the more popular and expense scripts, you can pay upwards of $600 or more for the exclusive right to advertise for the developer. They have you by the short and curlys for ...
